Ginger, Baby and Me

It’s been so long since I wrote anything I figured it was about due. Things are great Ginger is good, baby Bailey is still growing well “He” is a little larger than a fist and we heard his little heartbeat last Friday. You may have noticed that I am referrng to him as he, not that we have had Dr confirmation on the subject but it’s just a feeling.

We just had some good friends from Malaysia come and stay with us because they are going to school in the states. It was fun, we had “Teo Terik” – Chinese Tea with Condensed Milk, don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. We spoke about all the things that they would be experiencing soon as well as getting into the parks and having a blast. Colin has gone to Liberty and CK is at Embry Riddle and I miss them already. I feel like a parent who sent off my boys and now I worry did I tell them all I should have, but God will take care of them I know.

In other news: We have been helping a young couple who just recently came to know the Lord. They have really began to do a 180 and follow God, we are so happy Sean (Not Me) recently got a job working for Food Services here at the church. Now we are just praying that God will make a way for permanent housing. They are learning to trust day to day for their needs and God is teaching me to do the same with my ministry to them and other homeless.

I can’t explain how amazing it is to serve the Lord each day. It’s like doing the thing you’ve always wanted, but you never knew you did. When I asked God to change my life so many years ago I had no idea the plans he had for me. To be honest, if he told me I would have run!
