Reaching out to OBT

Saturday was amazing, our church did it’s largest local missions outreach that I’ve heard of by reaching out to a trailer park on Orange Blossom Trail. Over 400 people from (First Orlando showed up to do weed eating, edging, mowing and painting. It was great to see so many people some of the highlights were Gloria who drank more natty ice in one day than she probobly weighed but yet she was served an loved by some people who loved her. Or hearing the story of how the old building that was renovated to be their new chapel had a large writing board of some kind in on what would be the main wall and when the removed it they found some scripture and phrase that said something like for love we are here. It was way cool, I’ll post some photos later when we get them all in. It’s great to see such a great outreach to be a part of and even cooler to see some people from the park at church this morning. Already God is using that time to bring his people to him! I loved what Danny said before service to them, Its not Abigail deal that we went to their house to see them, it’s a big deal that they came to our house to see us. Thats so true! Can’t wait to do it again!
